In the course of the laboratory students work on their Master project. This includes necessary experiments and computer simulations. |

The appropriate literature is given for each student individually by the supervisor of a Master project. |

Gaining an ability of completing a medium-size independent scientific project |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
The laboratory is graded by a supervisor of a Master thesis on the basis of criteria formerly agreed on by the student. The supervisor should not give a passing grade for the laboratory unless all experiments and computer simulations necessary for preparation of a Master thesis are completed. |
