| Założenia (opisowo): | (tylko po angielsku) The course is designed for students with programming skills and who have taken (or are simultaneously taking) a course on Hydrodynamics and Elasticity. |
| Skrócony opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) In this course we shall discuss methods to solve nonlinear problems for the Navier-Stokes equations of Fluid Dynamics. To give support to our calculations, we will treat in detail many topics such as time integration, numerical stability, finite differences, finite-volume method, Poisson solvers. |
| Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) • Time integration • Finite differences • Finite volume method • Poisson problem (fast Poisson solvers, multigrid, fast Fourier transform) • Hyperbolic equations • Driven-cavity problem • Lattice Boltzmann method • Vortex methods and Lagrangian stochastic methods • Additional special topics depending on the specific interests of the students attending the course |
