Założenia (opisowo): | (tylko po angielsku) The major aim of this seminar is to teach students to prepare and conduct oral presentations on selected subjects. The prsenstations are in English. |

(tylko po angielsku) A student prepares and delivers 2 oral presentations. Each presenation is based on a scientific publication selected from a list. |
Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) A list of selected scinetific publication on optics is provided. A student selects 2 publications which he/she will present to the audience consisting of his/her peers and the professor. The student can seek help in preparing presentation from the members of scientific staff of Optics Division. The presentation lasting approx. 30 minutes is followed by the discussion on both the scientific content of the lecture and the technical aspects of the lecture itself. |

Efekty uczenia się: |
(tylko po angielsku) The ability to prepare a professional presentation on scientific (optical) topic. Hands on experirence in delivering the lecture, answering questions from the audience,discussion with the audience. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
(tylko po angielsku) Each lecture is discussed by the audience and the professor. The discussion concerns both the content of the lecture (general plan, clarity o presentation, selection of material, etc.) as well as the technical side of the presentation (quality of language and slides, speaking manners, etc.) The professor marks each student. |
