Short description:	Subject covers the basic issues of economic theory, with particular emphasis on basic concepts, major types of economic regulation, management systems, fiscal policy and global economic accounts, inflation, economic growth, budget, inflation, business cycle theories, the theory of money.
Full description:	The lecture introduces listeners to the problems of economic theory at the level of state activity, economic policy, public and private sectors, the activities of monetary authorities, the choice of economic objectives in the country and the region
Bibliography:	The lecture largely based on national publications, to the extent appropriate for the audience uneconomical fields of study.
Learning outcomes:	(in Polish) Wiedza – absolwent uzyskuje wiedzę w zakresie podstawowych pojęć makroekonomicznych, stosowanych w teorii ekonomii, w perspektywie całości gospodarki i państwa, jako ważnego podmiotu polityki ekonomicznej. Dowiaduje się między innymi jakie są podstawowe cele makroekonomiczne, w jaki sposób ocenia się stopień ich realizacji, na czym polega polityka fiskalna i monetarna, jakie jest znaczenie inwestycji, jakie są wyjaśnienia zagadnienia cyklu koniunkturalnego, jakie są podstawowe założenia ekonomii zrównoważonego rozwoju, jakie funkcje w gospodarce pełni pieniądz. Umiejętności – powinien czytać teksty ekonomiczne publikowane w mediach ze zrozumieniem, prawidłowo oceniać użycie adekwatnej terminologii, samodzielnie formułować wnioski, rozumieć zagadnienia funkcjonowania państwa w aspekcie procesu gospodarowania. Kompetencje – przedmiot tworzy podstawę dla umiejętnego, opartego na kompetencji samodzielnego rozumienia i redagowania tekstów ekonomicznych, a także wyszukiwania źródeł dla pozyskania wiedzy ekonomicznej.
